The Original Threeby *Twokinds

Now in color! Since I already posted the sketch, I'll just include the description I used before:

In celebration of the 8th anniversary of Twokinds, I decided to draw a picture of the characters who started it all: Trace, Flora and Keith. In the beginning, these were the only characters I had planned. It might not seem like it today, but originally, these three were going to be in a love triangle. According to the first scripts, Keith and Flora were meant to be involved in a sort of love-hate relationship. This idea was eventually scrapped though, and soon after, Natani was introduced to balance out the group. You can still tell, though, in some of the earlier comics, that Keith was originally supposed to become attracted by her.

Many things have changed since the original inception of the comic. Lots of ideas were being thrown around at the time, and many were scrapped and added along the way, to make up the comic you all know now as Twokinds. Still, it's fun to look back occasionally, and wonder what could have been.

I've read your whole comic and love it but there has always been one random thing that has kind of bothered me about Keith. I have yet to see his pupils, I have even re-read the comic and tried to find any pages where you drew Keith's pupils and could not find any. Is there a reason you do not draw them?

there is a reason and i have seen picture of keith's eyes coloured and drawn in, and i can tell you they don't really fit, its easier not to and i think it looks better as is, although i don't know tom's actual reasoning for it

Wait you HAVE seen Keith's eyes drawn in!?!?! And I think there is a reason too but It has just been something that has always bugged me as I was reading. I was hoping to find the answer.

I first read a whole 10 years worth of this comic in half a day and half a night. It was actually on April Fool's day. I couldn't get off it. I'm not even a comic guy. I found one strip of the comic from google images. I typed in sadism. It was a spoof of mike (girl) and Evals. Let's not talk about the picture...

still...an...epic..
comic.... started reading it when there were 634 pages roughly...heh...read the whole thing in 24 hours ;3 ...awesome comic tom and PLEASE for the love of all things sacred...PLEASE keep the comic going...even once you finish college...also...good luck on your career...and alas...bullying in highschool of any and all kinds...sad to say and unacceptable to say...is the norm...I'm autistic abd suffer from tourettes...so i can sympathise...heh...
