*Twokinds

I can't stand it any longer. I've been sitting on this pile of commissions for ages now, trying to figure out what I am going to do about them. My procrastination has caused all of them to be very late, to the point where I'm not even sure if the original commissioners even want them anymore. I know that it's my fault for putting myself in this hole, I should have known better then the line up more then one commission at a time. If I overload myself, I tend not to do any of it. I cannot spread my focus on more then one project at a time.

So I really don't know what I should do. Right now, I feel it is only fair to cancel the commissions. I know it isn't -really- fair, but it would lift a tremendous weight off my shoulders if I didn't feel a suffocating sense of guilt every time I visited my dA. And at least those of you who have commissioned me aren't left hanging, wondering if I'd forgotten or if it's supposed to take this long.

In short, I'm kinda giving up on them, I"m afraid. And to be perfectly honest, it's what I really wanted to do. I'd like to start over. Accept one commission, then do it, before ever thinking about moving on to another one. If I can do that, I think I really could get them all done in a timely fashion. For right now, I apologize to the 7 or 8 people who commissioned me in the last year. If you still want me to work on your project, please send me an updated email, but if you don't want it anymore, it's quite understandable.

I hope this will allow me to put more focus into getting Twokinds back onto a more regular schedule.

Yeesh, that's a lot of people. I didn't realize I had so much work to do. Sadly, I do really need the money to keep going. So, I appreciate all of you who took an interest. If you've requested a commission previously and you are not on the list, I apologize, I probably lost your request in the mass of commission requests I've recieved. Please send me an email and I'll put you on the list again. Also, I'm sorry for taking so long for some of you commission requesters. I know, I'm a lazy bum.

Hey guys. Things have been going pretty well lately. After a long period of unusual scheduling, I've finally managed to get back up to three updates a week. I've really appreciated all the support I've been recieving lately, especially in funding for a workable laptop. So, I figure the least I could do is update more often.

I'm currently open for more commissions at the moment. I really could use the work. So, if you would like me to draw your characters, I'd be happy to ablidge. Here's what I can do:



This is an example of a simple sketch. Commissions of this type will generally look like this, although it will of course be much bigger. $5



Here's an example of a completely inked commission. The sketch and guide lines faded in the back can be included or removed. $10



This is a flat-colored drawing. Simple colors, but I think it looks nice. $20



This is a fully-colored commission. It is the most time-consuming to create, but it is also the most rewarding for the effort. $30

In other news, I'm still working on the Twokinds book. But formatting everything is a lot more difficult then I had first imagined.

I've got a couple new Twokinds wallpapers for anyone interesting. They should be completed soon.

My cat is missing. I'm not sure where she ran off to.

And I've finished moving into my mother's house (from my father's house). I should be settling in here for a while until I go off to college. Speaking of college, I can't afford it. But I hope to work this year and apply next fall. I hope to get into the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia. I just hope it doesn't cost me an arm and a leg.

For those of you who aren't aware, I've revently had surgery to have my wisdom teeth removed. A simple procedure with virtually no risks involved, but it still is quite painful to recover from. This is the reason I have yet to update Twokinds for this Friday - I honestly just don't feel up to completing the next page at the moment. I'll be sure to have one up for Monday, as well as continue to update my dA with nifty stuff later on.

School ends on the 19th and I graduate on the 26th, so expect more stuff once I have more freedom. That's all for now. I've gotta go take some more pills. XP

Alright, time to finally start anew. It's Springtime where I am, and I'm finally feeling like I'm being productive for once. Twokinds is somewhat back on track and everything is going according to plan.

First of all, if you've sent me an email and haven't recieved an answer, don't fret. I've probably still got it, and I'm planning on answering them all when I find the time. I currently have over 425 emails I still need to respond to, and it will take me some time. Don't worry, I have read all your emails, I do so whenever I recieve one. It just takes me a lot longer to respond them to read them.

Plans for Twokinds: I hope you've all enjoyed the art and story so far. Things have gotten a little convoluted in the plot over time, and I'm sorry about that if you've become lost. For this upcoming chapter, I am planning on going back to a little more basic mechanics. It will focus a lot more on humor and... a bit of fanservice as well (for both the guys and the girls out there ;D ) Basically, this is going to be a rest for the characters as well as myself, with a lot of misadventuring sideplots going on during the boat cruise. Not a lot of plot with developement, but it's going to be a lot of fun, I promise.

Also, fanart: If you've sent it to me, I'm sorry it hasn't been put up. I'm working on a new system where you guys can just upload it yourselves, and I only have to approve them. This will make it much easier on me, and on you guys. It's coming soon.

Well, that's about it. I'll try to keep this journal updated more often then once every two months, really.
