Description

Today is my friend Fluff's birthday, so I drew this image of his anthroid character, Ara.

I don't get to draw space stuff very often, so this was fun. ^^ The station is total bs; just a bunch of sci-fi nonsense I slapped together, vaguely based off the ISS. I think it looks cool, though. xD

Spaaaaaaaace!

While she might not need oxygen or a pressurized atmosphere to stay alive, I must voice my concerns about her thermal situation. Radiation is a relatively inefficient way to loses heat, so without contact with a gas or fluid to conduct away heat or any signs of cooling systems, I fear that an extended stay in the vacuum will lead to her eventually overheating if she doesn't return to an atmospherically and thermally regulated environment.

Further more, I feel like I should point out that she has no in space maneuvering system, and no visible attachments to the structure. While she might have magnetic paw pads to remain attached, this won't properly address the serious safety hazard at hand. If she losses her grip, the only way she can keep herself from drifting off is to grab the line nest to her. If she doesn't get a proper grip on it, a major possibility if she's separated from the station by a sudden movement, then she will become adrift and unable to return to the station.

However this is gathered only from what I can see in the image. If she where to say, have small rockets built into her paws or mounted to her back, or have the tether actually attached to her some how, then she would actually be safe and all my worrying will be for nothing.
